anxiety
anxiety is right up my alley just the thought o a eight page paper freaks me out i mean we have known about it for weeks but lust the fact i think im more worried because i swicthed movies after the second 2 page paper so know i have to come up with that info some how scares me i really believe that i am finally getting the hang of this eng lish class it sucks cause just when you want to keep learning all of a suttan it all stops just the fact that this is a college class freaks me out but my paper should hopefully be a piece of cake i have a lot of information that i would be able to use i have a lot of concrete information that comes from a very good source. allison really help me out when she explained to me her plans sometime when you dont know where someone is going with something then you tend to allow fustation build up and cofuses everything but with a plan it make me think much clearer i still get nervous but not as bad i guess you can say that i am one of those people who are afraid of the unknown and i am a very detail oreinted person some people dont like that it gets on their nerves but i rather know then to not know and i wont be able to use that as an excuse as to why something wasn’t done

concrete u say
When I first started to write about The Passion of Christ I wanted to focus on Jesus carrying the cross on his back, and what the meaning of it was. The more I allowed input to come in from my peers and my teacher. I realized that the movie Passion of Christ may have a deeper meaning then what I interpreted. I realized that Jesus was not the only one who walked through the city with a cross on his back. So now I have to wonder rather or not the cross means something significant in the movie. Considering that the bible is the major influence on the Passion of the Christ. Its only logical to think that it’s main focus was about Jesus. The director Mel Gibsons interpretation about Passion of Christ can be neither wrong nor right. However I do know now that the Passion of the Christ has many other strong view points that I never mentioned or focused on. For example when Jesus was walking through the crowd with the cross on his back, on one side was his mother Mary, and the other Mary that is mentioned in the bible. On the other side was the devil walking/ gliding through the crowd watching and waiting for Jesus to be crucified. What seems to have been portrayed was simple the good VS. evil. In some weird way would bring this movie back to the original battle that I can remember, God Vs the devil. It would be safe to say that the cross is a symbol of trials, tribulations, and stress that we as the people mainly put on ourselves, could not be a absolute concrete statement. Now that I was able to research what I have wrote about, and what I thought my main focus would be. I have found that I myself have conflicted my thoughts and words dramatically.

passion of christ
i would hope that one day we will be able as the paople to come togerther and allow ourselves to be educated on all aspects to ones culture it seems to me that a lot of us forget why jesus died for us . i can really say that all of this is hear say and we have been taught to believe in what we were taught which can confuse many situations in our life. one example is you can can be taught that a drink with sparkling bubbles in it is called soda or you can be taught that it is called pop which one is right and which one is wrong that would all depend on were you grew up but both of them are water filled bubbles fleavor tasting drinks. i really wish that people will start to come together and begin to educate each other on what is the truth and what is not the truth i know that everyone is entitled to there on oppions. in the article it was stated that basically jews who didnt like the movie the passion of christ loved the movie one night with the king so some writers couldn’t figur out why i simply implied well its sur not because they are 2 faceded just because the two religions or peopls of group dont agree i say whats the big deal both of the movie were based off storys that came out of the bible. A book that was seent here to guide to do the right thing and to serve God so the main focus shuold be what lessons are to be learned not rather or not the movie was made to intentionally disrespect some one.

1408 and a video
Well i been on the net 4 about 1 hour and i tried to put the video clip that i liked of 1408 which was the end of the movie so i guess i will tell you a little about it well at the end the writer made it out of the hotel one reason was because he set the hotel on fire well i take that back the only reason was because his wife somehow between the real and unreal was contacted and was told were he was at nah i take that back the room 1408 interferred with his conversation with his wife and told her to come to the hotel not knowing that he was going to set it on FIRE so any way his wife saved him because she insisted that the fireman go up to room 1408 and check it again so anyway he survived. Then the seen goes to when they are at the new place and the wife wants to throw out some items that were burned in the smoke but he indicated thaere were some things that you can not just throw away. As he was looking through the box he came across the tape recorder he had used during his stay in 1408. to make a long story short when he played the recording back his lil daughter that has passed away yrs prior was on the recording and the wife who was going to the next roon droped a box as she heard her baby girl talk to her daddy on the recording. Now to me this is the best scene for me because before that night in the room 1408 this particular writer did not believe in ghosts but after that nite and the experiance of the room 1408 and being with his daughter you can tell that his life changed it even was said that he wasn’t going to write books for a while basically he was going to take a nice lil vacation from writing books. that scene surly show that with life experianc and trails and tribulations can quickly alter your decision. finally after asking about ten people how to post a video i ran into allison at the writing center where she was able to show me how to post a video wow you learn something new everyday.

So today we are to figure out waht we already know about the movie we chose and its’ focus question well my focus question is does this movie change my percection of rather or not ghost are real or not i would say yez but my spiritual beliefs seem to make me have a block up on the ideas of rather or not this was real or not. I know that in the movie the main character did not believe in gosts and has been to many diffrent hotels were there clam to be abnormal ghost activity, he has been all over the world worte books and really made it known that he has researched ghost like activitys and could not find none out of his time of reseaching. Part of ones person belief system comes from our morales, the media, and research. I know that this movie has effected my morales, and once i do a little reseach and find out if this is a true story or not then it will also change my belief depending on what i find. I’m not trying to say this this movie has some type of hard message but all of the crazy things that go on in the movie could have you thinking people go through thing and experiance things and just because i have never experianced directly any abnormal activity in my life dose not mean that these events could not have happened to some one else in some other place even when ur thoughts are in ur head those thoughts are so real to the person. who am i to tell them that what they are thinking in out of this world sometines when u think others are crazy one u can turn crazy two u may b the one that is crazy or three they may be the ones who are in their right mind.

Yes I agree with the thesis “ like the yodeling and banjo picking that punctuate the soundtrack to Raising Arizona or the country bluegrass, folk, and gospel throughout O Brother, Where out tho? These moments of MUZAK codify the extreme and therefore comical stereotypes from which each character is derived”( Hainge 38). And (Alison Mcentire don’t be silly Blog prompt 3). The music in both of them is very different from each other in raising Arizona a lot of up tempo, non moral, police chasing sounds was a major part. In O Brother, Where art thou I noticed that the sound where a lot of on the godly side like when they were at the water and the saints were getting baptized, or when Everett saw his little girls’ on the stage at some event they were singing a godly song. Even throughout the movie certain dialogs took place that totally separated O Brother, Where Art Thou from Raising Arizona. In Raising Arizona some sound indicated that something was about to happen like as soon as Hi was going to get chased by the police, or when he was getting beat up by Smalls I thought that was funny. I also thought that each character played right into all of the set ups of the music. That allowed Raising Arizona, and O Brother, Where Art Thou to be two very funny movies. They displayed a sense of humor which is always good, and neither one of those movies felled to make me laugh.

psycho or not
I don’t know if the movie is a psycho-graphic film but what i do know is i never thought that a movie like that had so much detail to offer i feel that Raising Arizona tends to have a brod imagination but what ever the case is it didn’t drive me psycho which i can see where that can happen if you let it. so because i not going to let a movie help me determine sane or unsane i disagree and i would have to say that I’m just letting a movie be a movie i dont wanna look to much in to it and i don’t wanna Even think that if the things that was happening in the movie would happen in real life then we would have a major problem on our hands everyone would be running around in the state of their own minds and i don’t think that would be a good idea in the movie hi had everyone in there own stat of mind which is why the decisions they chose made no sense, they were contradicting themselves, the movie was funny though and it was a good movie to dissect but I’m a simple kind of gal i like straight and to the point when u have to think to much it takes the fun out of it for me but then again this is a English class and sometimes you have to do what ever you need to do so you can go where ever you need to go hopefully English 101 is a stepping stool but don’t get me wrong i am learning a lot and it is very healthy for me to expand my thoughts cause before this class i would have took days to post this blog i feel like I’m getting the hang of creative writing. but all in all the film to me just had a lot going on.

Focus ?
My Focus ? that I chose was, Who is the hero in this film I had know idea at first if there may even be a hero. In the movie it seem to be nothing but criminals all over. But, don’t get me wrong there were times when I thought that the criminals would get there act together. I saw the movie before along time ago but, I guess I did not pay any attention to the detail of the movie, so it was like watching it all over again. My perception of who the hero was continuously changing. first I thought it was high, then it seem like the police women would play apart as to being the hero. As the the movie went on to play more and more high had some criminal Friends that for a second I thought was going to turn the baby in, and my thought was right but they were only going to do it for the money so in my mind that really did not make them a hero. which led me to look at another person to see if they would be the hero. I saw the movie and it was a pleasure to watch but I’m not all that thrilled about it I rarely have anything to say because I barely got the concept of “Raising Arizona” to me it was just a movie with a open minded end. But back to my subject of who the hero is I cant really say because I’m not sure what would make them a hero. The only thing that makes me turn to saying that the heros are high and his wife is the fact that they returned the baby that they stole in the frist place. The reason I feel it would be fair to say that they were the hero’s was because they didn’t R.U.N.N.O.F.T. (lol) with Nathan Jr. and ruin his life. So in a since they saved his life by giveing him back to his family, and letting him be raised with morals, respect, goals,and dreams. P.S im not good at critical thinking and writing i rarely exsperss myself thruogh writing thats why im taking this class so if u see alot of mistake becuz i write how i talk escuze me im workin on it until nex time peace.

Eng101
Hello Eng101 class I am excited to be in this class. I cant wait to see what the semester will bring all of us and what we will all learn in the future of this class. I believe that this class will be a great asset to our life. Based on that fact that I was recomended to take mcentires’ class gives me good hope that she is a good teacher and will help me take my schooling to the next level. my name is Marzella Harris and I am going to school for my AA in ciminal justice. this is like my thrid quarter in school in 2000 I attended Pat Loves’ class where out of twenty students only 8 made it to graduation. I then went on to work at the Special Committment Center at McNiel Island for about three years. After decideing that I wanted to stay home and rise my children I di what i thought was best which was stay home. After staying home for more then four year’s i decided to come back to school in 2007 i came back for a quater took some quater’s off, and now in 2009 have decided once again to try the school thing out. I am a very kind , heeart warming person who loves to do anything for anybody when every I can i tend to ben over backwards more then I intend to. although sometimes I feel as if the my life could be so much better I also relize that my world could be so much worst so with that being said it is important to me to always be thankful for the good and all of the bad always.
